Classic Pacific

Genuine. Authentic. Classic.

Step Two - Building Your New Home

Classic Pacific wants you to understand the basic process behind the various steps that are involved in constructing your home and making your dream a reality. By thoroughly educating you as to what is behind the walls instead of just the paint that covers them, you will be able to properly maintain your home and property, thus protecting its value.

You will meet with the construction team four separate times during the escrow period beginning two weeks after the signing of the purchase agreement up until just prior to taking occupancy of your new home. All of these meeting will be scheduled with you by your Classic Pacific sales counselor(s) and you will begin each meeting at the sales office. Following is a timeline and short explanation of each construction meeting and your interaction with Classic Pacific’s construction personnel:

Day 14: Lot Orientation

Approximately two weeks after you open escrow on your new home, a meeting will be held at the sales office. A Classic Pacific construction superintendent will explain how your home will be positioned on the lot, elevation and floor plan, lot drainage, option cut-off dates and answer any questions you may have about the construction process.

Day 50: Framing Walk

Approximately seven weeks after the opening of escrow you will again meet with a construction superintendent. By now, the foundation is poured and the walls are framed. You will review the structural and electrical options you have ordered.. Additionally you will review the condition of the "bones" of your new home increasing your understanding of what is behind your walls.

35 Days prior to Moving in: Option Walk

Approximately thirty-five days before the close of escrow of your home, you will meet with construction to review the construction status of your residence. At this point your roof, windows and doors are installed. The house is dry walled and the cabinets have been installed. Your flooring will not be installed at this time. During this walk you should make sure that the correct flooring has been ordered and all of the options you have chosen at the design center have been installed. Make sure you bring a copy of your options and voice any questions or concerns you may have.

3 Days prior to Moving in: Orientation Walk

Approximately three days prior to taking possession of your new home, you will meet with customer care to receive a thorough orientation on every facet of your new home and how everything works. Any issues you have will be put on a list and resolved immediately.
